Install Zitlin

Zitlin runs in a browser, on desktop, and on phones and tablets. Your data lives on the server, so every device signed in to the same property sees the same thing.

Nothing to install — sign in from any modern browser. This is the quickest way to try it, and the only place a few Pro screens are available on Apple hardware.

Install from Google Play.

Install from the App Store.

Native builds are available for Windows, macOS and Linux from zitlin.com. The web app works just as well if you would rather not install anything.

A few features are not available in the iOS app

Apple's rules keep some screens — the Channel Manager and Team among them — out of the iOS build. They show a short notice instead. Use the web app or Android for those; everything else works normally.

Creating your account

  1. Open Zitlin and start the onboarding.
  2. Choose New account as the account type. Pick the features you want — property management, invoicing, hourly bookings, housekeeping, event spaces, inventory, booking website, restaurant.
  3. Enter your name, email and mobile number, and accept the terms.
  4. Enter the verification code sent to your email.
  5. Fill in your property: business name, the email and phone guests should use, address, postal code, state, country and time zone.

Sign-in is by one-time code, not a password

Every sign-in sends a fresh code to your email. There is no password to choose, forget or leak. Disposable and temporary email addresses are rejected — use a real business address you will keep access to.

The account you create is the property's Admin.

Adding your team

Settings → More → Team

Multi-user access is a paid-plan feature. Adding a person is done by Zitlin, not by you: choose New user for an existing account during onboarding, or open a support ticket, and support will attach them to your property.

Once they exist, the Team tab is where you set what they can do — pick the person and change their role from the dropdown.

Role Can reach
Admin Everything, including settings, team and all reports.
Accountant Everything operational, plus invoicing and reports.
Rooms Manager Front desk, bookings, guests, channel manager, housekeeping. Not the restaurant.
Restaurant Manager Restaurant, menu and orders. Not rooms or bookings.
Housekeeping Housekeeping tasks only.

Rooms and Restaurant are side by side, not a ladder

A Rooms Manager cannot open the restaurant, and a Restaurant Manager cannot open the front desk. Give a person who does both an Accountant or Admin role — there is no combined middle role.

The Admin role cannot be changed from this screen

Neither the existing Admin's own role nor anyone else's can be set to Admin here. That is deliberate: it stops a property being locked out of its own account. Contact support if the property changes hands.

One account per person

Shared logins make the record useless — every action is stamped with the account that performed it, and sign-in codes go to one mailbox. Give each staff member their own.
